Transcription: It's important to understand that there are three big categories of plants. We have biennials, perennials, and annuals. We're using digitalis, two different species of digitalis. Digitalis purpurea, a biennial, it comes up from seed in the first year but does not flower. It doesn't flower until the second year and then it makes lots of seeds so you'll have lots of seedlings all over this area but this individual plant will be gone.
